Cotton

It’s the most common fabric for men’s underwear, because it’s soft, comfortable, breathes and inexpensive. Also there are different types of cotton fabric. 100% cotton is no-elastic, organic cotton is friendly-environmental, and 95% cotton and 5% spandex is most popular. 

Modal

It’s smooth, soft and breathes extremely well. Compared with cotton, it is resistant to shrinkage and less likely to fade or pill. To some extent, it’s more expensive than cotton fabric.

Polyamide

It’s the best choice for sport underwear, because it’s extremely strong, elastic and quick dry fiber. Besides it’s lightweight, durable and resistant to damage.

Polyester

It’s a synthetic fiber. Besides comfortable, thin, superb strength, good resilience and no wrinkle, the other important feature is that it hold color well.

Bamboo

It’s lightweight, but strong. Also it touch soft, importantly is somewhat antibacterial. And it’s more and more popular now.
